WE THE PEOPLE SUPORT OUR FALLEN COMRADE

Okay all those that don't know what is going on I have been peiceing the information together through out today tracking leads and what not.

What we know currently:

DeviantART Co Founder Scott Jarkoff, also known as the famous yellow alien Jark, was fired from his position as Head of Community Development and has been replaced by Richard Steelyard aka Lolly.

We do not know the specific reason why he is no longer on Staff here at DeviantART however acording to the journal of his fellow Co Founder, Angelo Sotira, and I quote:

"Why is jark no longer on staff?
Because of legal issues, we're not able to say why this has happened just yet. What we can tell you is what it is not because of: it did not happen because of any corporate plot or conspiracy. The core team of deviantART has worked every day for the last 5 years to ensure this place runs smoothly without having to sell out to any other company or swindle the community, and none of us has any intention of letting that change. We're not going to put somebody else's logo all over our site. You wouldn't want that; we don't want it, and we won't let it happen. °jark no longer being on staff is due to a completely separate matter, which, as I'm sorry to say, we're not able to go into the details about." Because of the information that hasn't been disclosed as of yet, the people of the community are in a bit of a panic one member asks, “you think DA's gonna fall?”
Although most of us will continue supporting DeviantART, those who support Jark are now creating art as a form of petition against the seemingly unfair out casting of one of our own.
